The Wolf

The wolf, what an animal; wild, ferocious, vicious, and loyal.
The whole world to them is in black and white, they live in the grey.
The pack above all else, the Alpha's word, all that matters.
One mate in each lifetime, no more loyal a beast will you find.
If the mate dies, this does not matter, for only one do they desire.

Yet the lone wolf...has no pack, no mate...he has nothing, but himself.
And yet this creature is the most fearsome and dangerous, of them all.
For he knows what he has, nothing... and one with nothing loses nothing.
He is not Alpha, but Omega... there is no word to pass, only his will to be done
How we humans think our selves evolved, when the wolf has society down to instinct.

Be you the rambler, the family man, the husband...you still have traits of the other.
I've met many  who would think me crazy... yet, I'm just a wolf who saw a rainbow.
I long to be like the wolf, I have my pack...an Alpha?...no, for we are a pack of Alphas!
And yet, to be the lone wolf.... I have been there to yet, Omega falls behind  Alpha.
Alpha and Omega... both master and on your own.... this is the world that i call home.
Part of my life, the world was black and white.... yet this I see in color.
